Zig Zag magazine was established to provide travelers with a new way to escape. Featuring a series of issues dedicated to “Unconventional Travel Destinations,” the look and feel of the magazine needed to be intriguing while also straightforward. Their readers are travelers who go with the flow, hence the wabi sabi nature of the brand id type treatment. They also like to mix things up. This was established aesthetically via the intermixing of two contrasting photographs on each cover – further communication the the theme of unconventionality.
